Very peaceful, tranquil and relaxing whether you use this as a base for explorations or just sit on the verandah with a cold drink reading a book. I especially enjoyed the Thai cooking lessons which we had to arrange the day before. Our hosts were wonderful - picking us up at the local airport and dropping us back at the end of our stay, and arranging Grab Taxis for us wherever we wanted to go off exploring each day. There's a local village massage place just down the road and some great walks around a huge lake.
